1. Definitions

- "Service" refers to the legal consultation and representation services offered by Lumencraft.
- "Client" or "User" refers to any person or organisation who engages Lumencraft's services or accesses this website.
- "Agreement" refers to the engagement letter or service confirmation exchanged between Lumencraft and the Client.
- "Website" refers to the online presence accessible at lumencraft.world.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or engaging Lumencraft's services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Use of this website or engagement of services constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
3. Service Description
Lumencraft provides legal consultation and support services in three principal areas: immigration and work permit assistance, debt recovery and collections counsel, and commercial litigation preparation. Services are delivered in accordance with the scope agreed in writing with each client prior to commencement. Availability of services is subject to capacity and jurisdictional considerations.
4. Engagement and Service Agreement
- All engagements are formalised through a written service confirmation or engagement letter.
- Work does not commence until the scope, fees, and terms are agreed in writing.
- Any changes to scope must be agreed in writing by both parties.
- Lumencraft reserves the right to decline instructions at its discretion and without obligation to provide reasons.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information relevant to their matter
- Respond to communications from Lumencraft within a reasonable time
- Notify Lumencraft promptly of any changes to circumstances that may affect the matter
- Refrain from providing misleading or false information
- Not use Lumencraft's services for any unlawful purpose
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use this website or our services to:
- Engage in any activity that violates Malaysian law or applicable regulations
- Transmit malicious code or interfere with website functionality
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or other parties
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, logos, and structural elements — is the intellectual property of Lumencraft or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or repurpose any content without prior written permission. A limited, non-exclusive licence is granted to access and view content for personal reference purposes only.
8. Payment Terms
- Fees are set out in the engagement letter prior to commencement of work.
- All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
- Payment terms, including instalment arrangements if applicable, are agreed at engagement.
- Outstanding fees may attract interest at a rate of 1% per month if not settled within 30 days of invoice.
- Disbursements (filing fees, court charges, etc.) are billed separately and at cost.
9. Refund Policy for Services
Where an engagement is terminated before completion, fees are charged on a pro-rata basis for work completed up to the date of termination. Advance payments in excess of work completed will be refunded within 30 days. No refund is available for fully completed services.

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Lumencraft's liability in connection with any matter is limited to the fees paid by the client for that engagement. Lumencraft shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from the provision of services or use of this website, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
12. Confidentiality
Lumencraft maintains strict professional confidentiality regarding all client matters in accordance with the requirements of the Malaysian Bar. Information shared with us in confidence will not be disclosed without your consent, except as required by law or court order.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with reasonable written notice. Lumencraft may withdraw from a matter where continuing would conflict with professional obligations, or where the client fails to meet their responsibilities under this agreement. Upon termination, the client remains responsible for fees incurred to the date of termination.
14. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to mediation or the courts of Malaysia as appropriate, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
15. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
- Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute waiver of that provision.
- Notices: Formal notices should be directed to [email protected].
16. Changes to These Terms
Lumencraft may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website or services following publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
